Davanam History:
The journey of Davanam began in 1905 under the visionary leadership of D.S. Venkatanarayana Setty hailing from a family of freedom fighters in Kanakapura Dist near Bangalore. On Oct’2nd 1987 Davanam’s made a humble beginning in Bangalore at Avenue Road the hub of jewellery business then. Today we are strategically located in the heart of the Central Business District of Bangalore at Commercial Street, Malleswaram and Mantri Square.

D.V.Aravind, Director, is a dynamic individual high on morale, good spirit and reputation, all of whom share the responsibility for the running and the expansion of Davanam. He is actively engaged in implementing the innovative business policies & business expansion.

D.V.Ramesh, C.E.O, has rich administrative and operational experience in the field of jewellery, He is responsible for transforming the business statergy and promoting the new ventures in corporate sales & marketing.

Expansion:
As the firm became popular for its exquisite designs and intricate workmanship, the customer base expanded rapidly not only in the country, but also across the globe. To meet and cater to the demands of its large customer base, in 1998 the firm moved to the present spacious business premises by adding three floors, to its showroom, which is traditionally decorated and elegantly laid out and also by venturing into exports of gold and Diamond jewellery in 1991 to U.S.A, U.A.E, Kuwait, Singapore and too many other countries.

The firm has participated in various prestigious exhibitions, the product are well acknowledged, and displayed, diamond studded jewellery, created and manufactured by the firm, which are well received by the consumers and demand for their diamond jewellery in U.S. is steadily on rise. During the year 2000 the firm has setup a 100% E.O.U (Export oriented Unit), to meet and execute export orders.
